We had a lovely holiday, the cottage was clean and comfortable and the surroundings quiet and peaceful. The tennis court would be excellent for anyone who fancied a game or two The owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful whenever we bumped into them Aberaeron Town centre and seafront was only a 5 min drive away (10-15 min walk) and it was a lovely place to wander .

Delightful cottage and very friendly owners. We were very pleased with the location, the grounds, the wild birds and the chickens. Lovely to have the river just across the field and to be able to get into Aberaeron by crossing the river and a walking through the lanes. Very comfortable cottage that suited our needs very well.

Highly recommended. It's a beautiful cottage with a cosy and comfortable interior. Being away from the main road it has a beautiful, peaceful garden but is only ten minutes walk or so to Aberaeron harbour.

The holiday house, Beudy Llyswen, was immaculate, well equipped, very comfortable and set in attractive, well maintained grounds. It was very peaceful, yet a fairly short walk from Aberaeron, the coast path and other very pleasant walks. The owners Mr and Mrs Harrison were friendly and helpful. The National Trust property of Llanerchaeron is nearby - pick a day to visit when the Geller Jones collection is open. Dolphins made appearances at New Quay ( especially ) and Aberystwyth.

A very comfortable and clean property with everything we needed and easy parking. The hosts made us feel very welcome. Location was lovely, close to river and walks. The town of Aberaeron is just a short walk away. Wonderful base for exploring the beautiful coast of Cardigan Bay. We had an excellent two week holiday!

Well equipped and comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting close to amenities but at the same time you feel as if deep in the countryside. Mair and Ian great hosts too. The area has much to offer and we will certainly be choosing to stay at the cottage again

We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. Mair and Ian's care and attention to detail was outstanding. The quality of furniture, fittings, cutlery, etc. was also way above average and made for a very comfortable stay. No wonder this property gets such excellent reviews. Even the kites love this place!

We had a lovely holiday. The cottage is in a lovely position, easy walking distance from the centre of Aberaeron but at the same time very rural. The owners, Ian & Mair, are very friendly and accommodating.

An absolute gem of a place for those you enjoy the outdoors. It was so peaceful and relaxing but close enough to town. My youngest son would now like us to get chickens and my other son was constantly playing tennis. Lovely walks and fab beaches. We enjoyed paddling in the stream at the bottom of the field. Very friendly owners who made our holiday really special. Cannot wait to go back.

The location is great whether for a gentle stroll into Aberaeron or visiting the the many lovely hidden beaches or going inland. It is a hidden gem that once visited you will want to go again and again. We highly recommend

Mair and Ian are great hosts. This cottage is really nice and is in a lovely semi rural location with an easy 10 to 15 minute walk into town and the harbour. The walk along the old railway line to the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron takes about 45 minutes and is well worth doing. Aberaeron is a pleasant small town with a good variety of shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. The harbour area is particularly nice.
